Medical Office Procedures

This course teaches students routine, but critically important office procedures. The American Association of Medical Assistants lists several areas of competence for medical assistants. These areas include administrative procedures, professionalism, communication skills, and legal concepts. This course addresses these areas.

The student will receive a Certification of Completion upon completion of the program. Attendance policy must be met and a minimum score of 70% on the exit exam is required for student to receive certificate.

Medical Insurance (Billing and Coding)

Health care facilities and insurance companies need well qualified Health Insurance Specialists. This course teaches students how to process health insurance claims, instructions for filing fee-for-service claims, learn legal and regulatory terminology and laws impacting health insurance processing.

The student will receive a Certification of Completion upon completion of the program. Attendance policy must be met and a minimum score of 70% on the exit exam is required for student to receive certificate.

Computer Basic Fundamentals and Medical Office Procedures

This program is as outlined in Computer Basic Fundamentals and Medical Office Procedures.

The type of training offered is computer training with an emphasis in basic computer, office concepts and medical office procedures. The student will receive a Certification of Completion upon completion of the program. Attendance policy must be met and a minimum score of 70% on the exit exam is required for student to receive certificate.

The student can expect to accomplish an understanding of basic computer concepts and medical office procedures.
