Network +

Upon completion of the Network+ course the student will be able to describe the features and functions of networking components, and possesses the knowledge and skills needed to install, configure and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols and services. The Network+ course teaches technical ability in the areas of media and topologies, protocols and standards, network implementation, and network support.

MCSA and Security +

The Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) credential proves that you have the skills to successfully implement, manage, and troubleshoot the on-going needs of Microsoft Windows 2003-based operating environments. MCSA candidates are required to pass three core exams and one elective exam.

Introductory Computer Skills and A+ Program (Hardware & Operating System)

Students will learn basic computer concepts and skills related to IBM and compatible computers. Students will receive a thorough introduction to the hardware components of a personal computer. In addition, they will learn some practical Windows techniques and become acquainted with basic applications. Students will create a document, organize files, work with Windows Messenger, create an efficient work environment, work with media, clean up their systems and find information on the Internet. Students enrolling in this course will learn the basics for creating and revising business documents using Word 2003. The student will also learn how to navigate Outlook 2003 Basic.
