This program includes Microsoft Basic office application courses as outlined in the seven (7) individual descriptions for Introduction to Personal Computers, Windows XP Basic, Word 2003, Excel 2003, Internet Explorer 6, Outlook 2003 and PowerPoint 2003. QuickBooks Pro 2008 will be taught in this program.

The type of training offered is computer training with an emphasis in basic computer, office concepts and QuickBooks Pro 2008. The student will receive a Certification of Completion upon completion of the program. Attendance policy must be met and a minimum score of 70% on the exit exam is required for student to receive certificate.

The student can expect to accomplish an understanding of basic computer concepts skills and QuickBooks Pro 2008. By completing the QuickBooks course the student will learn accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, income tax. The student will also learn computer software and spreadsheets for accounting applications.

This program provides students with a background of basic knowledge and level of experience to become competitive for work using Microsoft office applications and QuickBooks Pro 2008. It also provides a lot of “real world” examples to ensure students can function within a work environment.

 

QuickBooks Pro

The QuickBooks Pro course contains features, such as invoicing customers, paying bills, tracking expenses, generating reports and organizing information, plus advanced tools and customization options that increase efficiency and accuracy. Effectively manage payable and receivable accounts, import data from Microsoft Excel and easily undo reconciliation in one step. Design professional, precise forms and reports that include customizable prices with up to 100 price levels. Tools such as the Vehicle Mileage Tracker, Loan Manager and Cash Flow Projector provide the means to coordinate and stay on top of a variety of different business scenarios.
